Application process

Please note, the focus areas and target communities will remain the same for the April 2021 grant round, however, funding priority will be given to projects that directly address recovery from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. This may include employment projects and projects that aim to address educational gaps as a result of remote schooling.

Application Process


A two-step process has been initiated for the Bennelong Foundation's bi-annual open granting rounds.  Step 1 is a submission of an Expression of Interest (EOI). Step 2 is an invited application for shortlisted submissions.

The Foundation is only able to 
accept applications from organisations
which carry Deductible Gift Recipient Status, Item 1 of Section30-15 from Australian Taxation Office.


For organisations looking to submit an EOI, please follow the following process:


1. Review

Review our funding focus areas, target communities and funding criteria to ensure your program or project is aligned with the Bennelong Foundation’s funding framework.

2. Register



Register to receive your personalised online Expression of Interest (EOI) form. HERE

3. Complete & Submit


Complete and submit your Expression Of Interest by 5pm, 5th February to be considered for funding at the April 2021 board meeting.
