The Board of Bennelong Foundation has approved a major five year major grant to support Talent Beyond Boundaries with their work of facilitating the participation of refugees in the international labour market.   Following on from their successful pilot program involving 10 candidates, the Bennelong Foundation is working with Talent Beyond Boundaries to improve the program to develop a sustainable and scalable model.

This is a partnership that also works with other major government and philanthropic bodies, including the United Nations High Commission for Refugees, the World Bank, the Rockefeller Foundation, the Roy and Patricia Disney Foundation and the Minderoo Foundation, and with similar programs in other countries including Canada.

Education, Training & Employment is a major area of focus for the Bennelong Foundation and the Board approved a scholarship/internship for a student from  RMIT and Macquarie University.  Not only does the student receive a scholarship for the years they study but they also have an internship within the Bennelong/Bangarra group of companies in Melbourne and Sydney, providing them with invaluable work experience which relates back to their field of study.
