Celebrating Western Chances Pursuit Award x Bennelong Foundation 20th Anniversary Scholarships

On the 6th of October, the Bennelong Foundation hosted a ceremony to celebrate the Western Chances Pursuit Award x Bennelong Foundation 20th Anniversary Scholarship holders.

Each award, valued up to $5,000, was used to fund a once-in-a-lifetime experience that helps accelerate learning as well as personal and professional development.

Jane Le participated in the Global Voices World Health Assembly delegation in Geneva, Switzerland. The Global Voices program runs from March to June. It commences in April with the Global Voices National Conference in Canberra.

Michael Do participated for a term in an exchange program with Monash University and The University of Oxford's Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics completing a research project in bioethics.

Leesa Ward participated in a four-day software engineering conference, RenderATL, in Atlanta, USA. She was invited back next year to speak!

Aleyna Beki, attended a two week RMIT Psychology Intensive in Indonesia through International Internships.

Ian Nguyen attended the One Young World 2022 Manchester Summit which brought together thousands of young leaders from 190+ countries to assist in social change.

All these young people have grown immensely after their trips and are motivated to make positive social change in their communities.
