FEAST is a 10-week STEM program delivered by OzHarvest to empower students aged 9-12 to make healthy eating choices and become change-makers in sustainability through hands-on cooking and inquiry-based learning. Bennelong Foundation’s funding is used to upskill eight low socio-economic status schools in Sydney and Melbourne to deliver FEAST, benefitting 240 students and 16 teachers.
OzHarvest is an organisation whose mission is to rescue excess food, educate communities, engage individuals and businesses, and innovate big ideas such as Australia’s first rescued food supermarket and Food App. Their vision is to create a world free from hunger and with zero waste, where everyone can lead a sustainable life.
