The Bennelong Foundation is supporting a program on Nyikina Country in the East Kimberly where alongside Nyikina Senior Custodians, Sharing Stories will embed community produced, culturally relevant learning materials and resources in schools on Nyikina Country, East Kimberley. This project helps build culturally safe schools in which Indigenous young people experience more meaningful education leading to increased pride in cultural identity and deeper engagement in learning.
The Sharing Stories Foundation works with Indigenous communities to protect, maintain and grow language, stories and cultural heritage through digital technologies and vibrant artistic art forms for the benefit of all children today and future generations tomorrow.
