Women's record broken at Run the Tan 2023

Updated: May 14, 2023

Congratulations to Jessica Hull on breaking the Run the Tan record today with a time of 11 minutes and 32 seconds. In the Men's race Jye Edwards finished with a time of 10 minutes and 32 seconds - a time which is equal 7th fastest of all time.

It was a stunning day in Melbourne and we are inspired by all participants and organisers gathering today to support community health and wellbeing.

The Bennelong Foundation are proud to sponsor the top prizes for the men's and women's race which are the largest prize for middle distance running in Australia.

In 2011, the Bennelong Foundation gifted the City of Melbourne two digital clocks on the Tan Track to help runners and walkers record their time around the Tan. We are always inspired by grit and determination of all runners and walkers each year pushing themselves at this event.

Looking forward to another great race in 2024!
